May all of us who "suffered" childhood recognize that no childhood should ever hold us back from being all we desire to be. May that painful childhood become our stepping stones to a new and remarkable future.
May we use the pain, suffering, disappointment, betrayal and rejection to reach out with compassion to those who are presently experiencing these same emotions.
May we become builders in God's kingdom, as mothers and fathers, builders of a new and better generation. As wives and husbands, builders of healthy relationships, as friends, builders of confidence and bringers of joy, as women, builders of our men, as men builders of our women, bringing life to all who know us.
