Welcome to my 8th page..can you believe it? If you read my home page then you know I'm very new to all this and I'm surprising myself, not to mention friends and family. (May 2000}. Anyway, I'm so glad you dropped by. My first 6 pages are pretty controversial so I thought I'd give everyone a break and do a couple whimsical pages for fun. Please come in... I wrote this first poem for a very dear friend in Australia who loves cats especially Sarah.

A Poem for Daphne
Tears sparkle like ice crystals on my lashes,
I care, so much, My Friend, about you.
The pain I feel when I know your life's in ashes,
Can be nothing compared to what you are going through.

Are there words of comfort at a time like this?
I'd give anything if the hurt would vanish with a wish!
Every tear we shed, me and you,
My Lord is saving in a bottle, tis true.
And when the time is right,
He'll send His angels into the fight.

How can I be sure He's there?
Because I asked Him in my despair.
And there He was waiting for me,
Now, 20 years later, I'm amazed I couldn't see!
He has taught me so much about His love for us,
He ne'er leaves us, not e'er, we leave Him in our darkness!
He desires to always be there when He is needed,
And will bring us through life's journey whole and completed.
For you, My Special Sister, my prayer is thus:
That you will find the One who loves you best,
The One who'll give you all the rest.
Along with joy unforeseen,
Your wounds to heal,
To wash you clean,
So the enemy from you can't steal,
All the guiltless joy you feel.
I pray for you God's "sun" on your face,
The willing heart to run the race,
Fountains of contentment deep,
And only tears of joy to weep.

For I'm your friend and won't tell you wrong,
Jesus is rushing to you headlong!
The God of Heaven doth you, seek,
So turn and let Him kiss your cheek.

EVER
WISH..?

We yearn after wild creatures just as God yearns after us.
Their love can only be freely given just as ours is freely
given to the Lord.

Ever watch a pod of whales play, and wish you could swim
with them, touch them and show them how much you admire
them? Just as God wishes to play and frolic with us.

wolf Ever wish you could pet one of those wild and beautiful wolves? Run free with it through the woods? Just as God wishes closeness with us.

hawk Ever wish you could hold a wild eagle, hawk, blue jay or hummingbird? Just as God wishes to hold us.

You may capture a wild creature, but it will only be sad. However, if you capture it's heart it will be yours forever. Just as God has captured my heart, eternally.

LOVE BRINGS GROWTH

It takes lasting love to make a marriage work, especially when it seems one-sided. Troubles come and go, even those that seem insurmountable. It also takes inner strength, grit, determination and courage to live with a man who has an illness. The illness may be anything from drug abuse and alcoholism to stroke or cancer.

Put thou my tears into thy bottle.
Are they not in thy book?

Unsure of your husband's love? Then count on yours. I truly believe a woman can bring a marriage through anything if she genuinely and unselfishly loves her mate.
There are fantastic rewards for the woman that sticks it out, even if she has to oppose every demonic being in hell to retrieve her husband. That is how true love is formed and becomes lasting, binding, unquestionable God given love. A love that is fought for and forged through pain and hardship is a love to be cherished through all eternity.

If you are one of the women fighting continuously to hold your marriage together, I would like to take this opportunity to give you the recognition, respect, praise and honor that you positively deserve.
And, as I'm sure you already know, the greatest honor awaits you.

Strength and honor are her clothing, and she shall rejoice in time to come.
